The Kissimmee River Restoration is one of the largest ecosystem restoration efforts in the world, returning the river channel and its floodplain to a more natural condition. Col. (Ret.) Bob Carpenter, P.E., oversaw this program in his role as Commander of the USACE Jacksonville District from 2004 to 2006, prior to founding BCPeabody. It is included here as founding-team leadership experience, not as a BCPeabody contract.
